I’m only mentioning this so I’ll have a record of it..

but the other day, I spilled water into the keyboard of my beautiful 3 year old MacBook. I CRIED! YES, CRIED. There was so much on there… between thousands of pictures, essays that undoubtedly knocked a few years off my life, things I’ve collected from the internet and other little knicknacks, I couldn’t handle all of that just disappearing without valid reason; it felt like I lost all evidence of my existence within 2 seconds. Dramatic? Hardly. However… Hallelujah, it works! I had to blowdry it then let it sit for a couple hours but it’s working :). The only bad thing is it’ll shut off in a couple minutes if it’s not hooked up to the wall via charger… I guess the description “laptop” doesn’t apply anymore. I really need an external hard-drive before I steer myself into another one of those unexpected pits of sadness again.
